Itinerary
Days 1-2
To Lake Garda
Depart St Pancras International by Eurostar travelling to Paris. Upon arrival in the French capital, continue by high-speed TGV to Chambéry, spending one night here. On Day 2, travel by train to Milan, and transfer by coach to the Park Hotel Casimiro Village in San Felice del Benaco.
Days 3-4Exploring the Lake
Cruise to Malcesine today and enjoy time to explore at leisure. At this narrow stretch of Lake Garda, dramatic cliffs rise steeply from the very edge of the water. On Day 4 you are free to explore Lake Garda or to venture further afield.
Days 5-6
Verona
Today, travel by coach to Verona, the city made famous in Shakespeare's 'Romeo and Juliet. Enjoy a guided city tour, exploring the cobbled streets and visiting the Roman Arena, the city gates and Juliet’s balcony. Enjoy another day at leisure on Day 6.
Day 7Venice
Travel to spectacular Venice by coach, and explore the unique floating city known for its beauty. On arrival enjoy a boat trip along the Giudecca Canal to St Mark's Square, the heart and soul of the city, from where you will embark on a walking tour of this famous cities highlights.
Day 8Sirmione
Enjoy a fantastic cruise to pretty Sirmione, situated on a promontory on the southern shores of Lake Garda, to explore this charming town bursting with history. Famous for its grand 13th century castle, the views over the lake from the castle's battlements are truly captivating.
Days 9-10Return home
Depart by rail today, travelling to Turin, where you spend the night. On Day 10, depart by high-speed TGV for Paris, where you will join the Eurostar service back to London St Pancras International.
